A brief introduction to the Engineering Institute of developing countries


The Academy of Engineering developing countries Academy of engineering and Technology of the Developing World (AETDEW), is from the "South South Cooperation Organization of the United Nations (also known as the group of 77 + Chinese)" and "will" united world engineering organization launched a number of academic leaders, UNESCO (UNESCO) approved the establishment of the social organization and its goal is to promote unity and cooperation in the academic and research community, government departments and the engineering technology and industry engineers, scientists and experts, to promote the development of the developing countries, the eradication of poverty; strategic policy research to the inter governmental international organizations, governments provide suggestions to promote the development of the system in the management and implementation of engineering, science and technology policy and system, promote the development of human capital, fostering a culture of innovation.
Its members include:

(a) academicians should be citizens of the group of 77 members and respond to the economic and social development of their countries, developing countries or the world, or make significant contributions to the development of engineering, science and technology.

(b) honorary academician: it should be an outstanding individual who has made remarkable achievements in the field of engineering, science or technology, or made important contributions to the developing countries.

(c) foreign academicians: citizens should be outstanding individuals, not members of the group of 77, and should make significant contributions to the economic and social development of developing countries or to the development of engineering, science and technology.

(d) assistant academician: a member of the group of 77 citizens, able and willing to provide excellent services for the economic and social development or the application of engineering, science and technology in developing countries.

Among the four members, only the academicians have the right to vote and have the right to vote.
The existing AETDEW China membership of 11 academicians, including Yan Chunhua, Chinese Academy of Sciences Academician Chinese Academy of Engineering Qian Yi, former Vice Minister Wu Qidi of the Ministry of education, University of science and China Institute Professor Mu Rongping, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications professor Zhong Yixin, the UNESCO Man and biosphere program Secretary Han Qunli, Tsinghua University professor Xue Lan, Shanghai Jiao Tong University professor Liu Xila, Qiingdao University Professor Shao Fengjing, Beijing Technology and Business University professor Han Liqun and Professor Zhao Shuying of Northeastern University.
